Banda Aceh, June 12, 2026 – The Aceh Branch of the Indonesian Society of Dermatology and Venereology (PERDOSKI) reaffirmed its commitment to improving skin health services by conducting a scientific seminar and public skin health education program.
The event, held in Banda Aceh, was attended by dermatologists, healthcare professionals, and members of the public. The scientific seminar featured the latest developments in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of skin diseases commonly encountered in Indonesia.
In addition to the seminar, PERDOSKI Aceh Branch organized educational sessions aimed at increasing public understanding of proper skin care, prevention of infectious skin diseases, and early detection of various skin conditions.
The Chairperson of PERDOSKI Aceh Branch stated that the event is part of the organization's ongoing efforts to support the improvement of dermatological and venereological healthcare services throughout the Aceh region.
"Through this event, we hope healthcare professionals can continue to enhance their knowledge and skills, while the public gains accurate information about skin health and adopts appropriate preventive measures," the Chairperson said.
